That would cause serious problems with twisting the Z until you would be driving on three wheels. This happened to a 1966 Falcon, when the 427 was installed without strengthening the chassis. As a rule, the 302 or 351 does not make as much torque as a 427. The AC Cobra's have a frame, which can handle the power of the 427.
