The 81-83 intakes all have a ton of crap on them... stuff you don't need if going SDS, etc. So they are going to look really cluttered. The earlier 75-76 manifold I've heard are the desireable ones since they have less stuff on top. BUT, I do recall reading that the intake runners on the turbo intake are 2mm(?) larger each... Its a bit more work, but I am planning on grinding my 82 turbo intake down and getting the holes welded in once I know how many I need. Guest scca Posted November 18, 2000 Share Posted November 18, 2000 i have both manifold but havent decided which to use yet..i will measure and see if one is bigger and use it. thinking the same.. maybe the 82 manifold and spend a ton of time cleaning it and then have it polished. i have a spare 82 one and i think a spare 75 one.
