Guest Anonymous
My 71z has a leaking speedo cable, at the box. The speedo drive has an o-ring in place, but there doesn't seeem to be any seals in the end of the cable. . .Is there supposed to be? and if not, how do you stop them leaking? Thanks guys Simon
randy 77zt
there is a seal inside drive body that seals shaft from speedo gear.pull the roll pin and the speedo gear from drive body and you will see it.for people that let these things leak it takes out countershaft bearings when trans runs low.
