GrayZee Posted March 24, 2001 Share Posted March 24, 2001 First of all, make sure that your engine is well tuned, take it to someone who knows Z's. You'd be amazed how much horsepower you can lose by having your carbs out of sync slightly! As for modifications probably the best single improvement you can make is to open up the exhaust, maybe headers and a 2.25 or 2.5 inch pipe. Also if you could manage to get your hands on a set of the old style carbs (72 and under) that would also be a good thing.
