Guest Anonymous
I have heard that the N-47 head is either the best or worst head in the L-6 line-up, depending on who you talk to, time of day, phase of the moon, etc. Since the evil exhaust liners are supposedly the culprit, and since they are tapered as they exit the CC, what if I took my whiz-wheel and cut, oh say, about 1/2" off the outside end? The contour of the liner curve beyond the valve and turn out would not be affected, and cross section would be increased. Anyone tried this or heard of it? Ideas, pitfalls, etc.? Thanks.
