I am considering this possibility in the future. can anyone provide a good source for performance pistons cranks and crank. Guest Anonymous Posted June 30, 2001 Share Posted June 30, 2001 i have done a port nos settup on a fuel injected z , doind a similar setup shouldn`t present to much of a problem. i would go with a good aftermarket forged piston the rods and crank in stock form in the z are very strong( my main problem was blowing head gaskets and the second rings becoming stuck in the glands).i am currently building a turbo nos 3,o liter with cunninham rods and je pistons , with a stock diesel crank.i hope to run low 11`s in this car.
