Another "Alternative fuel tank" question thread (240z)

Hi everyone. So i've been runing in circles on my fuel system plans toying with different ideas. The goal is to support a RB25 motor but I want to keep the body of my 73 240z stock (ie: not cut out the spare tire well) so this limits my options some (F-body tanks and fuel cells were eliminated pretty quickly from my list of possible fuel tank options).

Before I start I should mention I have researched many different fuel setups like sumping the stock tank with the addition of an external surge tank, baffling the stock tank, intank pump setups, combinations of the previously mentioned, ATL black boxes, you name it i've researched it.

I am however looking wide and trying to investigate possibilities for alternative tanks that are still in the back of my mind right now.

Alternative tanks I am investigating:

(1) R32 skyline tank: I have never found a thread discussing the possibility of a skyline tank in a 240z. More specifically an r32 model skyline. In fact I can't even seem to find a picture of an r32 fuel tank in my searches online??? With young "boy racers" in my area crashing skylines on a regular basis this would be an easily accessible option if I could get it to fit.

(2) S13 240sx tank: I have found a couple of threads that state it is a little longer than the stock 240z tank and the bulge on the passenger side may require some work to clear the spare tire however that is as much as I could find. No mention of how close a fit it is (guy who I know is using one got anxious and just cut the tire well out to get it to fit so it doesn't really help me) and no mention of anyone successfully running it without cutting the spare tire well through modification of the tank itself (no clear mention that it won't work either!).

(3) Mustang tank: Specifically I was looking at foxbody ones which are plentiful at the local junker. They have a similar shape to the 240z tank however I have no idea how long, wide and high they are (can't find dimensions online), I may head to the junker tomorrow with a tape measure and try to get the dimensions.

Can anyone shed some light on these three options I am researching? Are there any I can eliminate right off the bat? I would think these options have been investigated in the past but I really can't find any documentation on them. I do understand that ANY tank will fit with enough modification but if there is one that will fit with minimal work then I figure why not?

I'm expecting that I will end up doing something like an ATL blackbox or a sump feeding an external surge tank but I want to make sure i've exhausted all options before I go down either of those roads and have to find a good shop to do the tank  work.
