Manual Oil Pump $111.99 AutoMatic oil pump $62.99 Would a automatic one work in a manual car and vise versa? Hell ive heard that the Automatic one has the same pressure as the manual one but also has a higher flow rate.. Makes me wonder can any one clear this up for me. DAW Posted August 11, 2001 Share Posted August 11, 2001 The A/T car uses an oil cooler that the M/T car doesn't have, thus the higher flow. I was thinking the A/T pump cost more than the M/T.
