Guest Zpeed Posted August 20, 2001 Share Posted August 20, 2001 Well I've taken basically the whole engine to the guy my dad usually takes his engines to do to a rebuild, i'm getting the works, valves, lash pads, rebore, resize,new chain, and well the head is totally destroyed, ray, the engine rebuilder said to me that the water lines in the head are full decayed and the last person who fixed the head used silcone thats how bad it was, so now i'm gettng a new head, well not new but in alot better condition and he is thowing in a new cam and larger valves for free, can't wait, hopefully the engine will be like new and will do me for a few years before i am legal to do my v8 conversion, hopefully it will be ready within the next 2 weeks, and i'll have the valve covers done and the radiator painted, and after that i'll have my license... can't wait... i'm excited... haha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
