Guest BadKarmaCreepin Posted October 13, 2001 Share Posted October 13, 2001 ok, since i abandoned the Z with the v8 in it, i'm looking towards the v6 with a large turbo strapped to it. and since i know even less about the stock Z engine than a 350, i'm gonna need some help to find out what parts i should have on the engine to make it most compatable with a turbo. what are some common set ups? thanks. Guest Anonymous Posted October 14, 2001 Share Posted October 14, 2001 Well, I'd just look for a GN Buick V6 Turbo and automatic and just put that in, just slightly tweaking the boost will give you a great street driver and one that even in modest boost mode has way more than enough torque for the car. Had I done a little more research I might have gone that route, but the car has the 350 in it now, so I'll have to put a turbo or two on it and just call it a bowtie turbo.
