Sizing up the correct pistons

Hi Everyone,

I have a most of the parts compiled to start building a normally-aspirated stroker engine (P90 head, 9mm L24 rods, Turbo F54 block, 460L 270/280D cam set).

Now for the dilemma. Pistons and Rings...

I can keep looking over the scenario, and I am lost as to how I can choose pistons. Is there some way to figure out an ideal compression ratio (@ 10:1)? I do not wish to overbore the block past 88mm if I can at all help it. I would also like to keep the block and the head from being shaven. Is there a formula out there to calculate the measurements (pin height, stroke, head) to ensure that I can put a certain type of piston in without worrying about piston-valve clearances?

I would hate to spend the money buying pistons on a hypothesis of mine, and then find out that they won't work.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan
