Any way to edit\delete my member project thread?

Is there any way to edit\delete my member project thread?  I'm not happy with some of the posts and I'd like to modify\delete them or the entire thread and restart.

Not for YOU to do, the story of Why that is so predates my arrival at the forum but I learned the basics. Some guy did a build project and contributed a lot of very useful information to the forum, then later had an argument with another user and went and deleted every single post he made. So a lot of good information which was of great use to other users was lost.

As a result the forum system was changed so after a while only Mods can change posts, so no-one can unilaterally remove useful information.

Once posted, always posted, so think about what you will be saying before you say it.

 

But for clarifications, streamlining data and generally correcting mistakes or making it simpler to understand if you PM a mod they are usually amenable to changing it for you. Just write it up so the mod can Cut n Paste from your PM rather than having to tediously re-write it himself.
