I ordered the headers and turbo dynomax muffler (their super-exhaust kit for ~300) from motorsport, got it installed, and I love it. People think I'm packin a 305 or some other small v8. In fact, my 2.8 |6 sounds more aggressive than my friends '66 nova w/ an '89 vette lt1 350. I'd think a wilder cam would even sounds angrier icon_biggrin.gif

However, 2 months paying $700 (I had to get my ex. manifold bolts heli-coiled) weird.gif for the new exhaust, I picked up a zxt for a swap. Go figure eh? I could have paid for about 3/4 of an sds kit. I'll be taking off my headers when I do my swap, which in actuality probably won't be for another couple months. Do you have an n47 head? Depending on if your car is a late 80 it may or may not be, I'm not too sure. Anyway, the headers have about 1500 miles on em rolleyesg.gif and I'll be selling them soon. If you're interested I'll be posting in the buy/sell forum relatively soon. I believe they are about 185+ from motorsport, I'd probably let them go for 100, considering they were hardly used.

About the ignition... what is meant by the "directhit website"? --the search engine--? Personally I'd get both, I was looking into getting msdAL, I know a guy selling one for about $150 hardly used. I really liked my exhaust, the 2.5" and the dynomax really roar, more more than I expected, and I think the headers helped me pull a few more horses high-end. What else have you done to your ZX?

Your head casting # can be found between the #1-2 spark plugs.. go check right now.

See? Neat eh? Now just deliver this number to motorsport and go for the premium exhaust kit. BTW I forgot to mention that I chopped the cat, which depending on where you live, might seem outrageous. I'm in SW WA.. so by the time we catch up with california and new york, I'm guessing the late '78 will be exempt. If not, I'll just have to hide it in the garage till it is icon_razz.gif

good luck, and pick up an msa catalogue asap
