Hello all,

I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder's on my 1977 280z and bled the system, the clutch fork moves about 1/2 of an inch however the clutch does not engage at all. Any ideas on what my next step should be?

I had this exact problem a month or so ago and there were two things I did to fix it.  First, if you just gravity bled the system it won't work.  I gravity bled the clutch line for almost an hour with no success, but 5 minutes with a pressure bleeder and it was great.  Also, the arm on the master cylinder I bought was shorter than the stock one I took off the car, so there wasn't enough pedal travel to build up pressure (I learned to be careful about what parts you buy from a parts store).  If you can adjust the clutch pedal out further it will give you more pressure in the line.  Hope this helps!
