Guest Anonymous
I just rebuilt my su carbs and now my car is farily hard to start and when i floor it it starts decresing in rpm's slowly while the gas pedal is fully depressed. The only thing I could think of is that i incorrectly set the float level. Could anyone tell me how to correctly set it or any information on what else may be the problem. Thanks Lance
jimzdat
With the top off of the float bowl, flip it up side down, and let the float tang just barely rest on the needle valve--then measure the space between the bowl lid and the float (measure opposite the pivot point)--if I remember right it should be ~9/16" If you're interested, I have a copy of the "Just SU" tape from ZTherapy that I won't be neeiding anymore--watched it once--15 bucks, including shipping
