Guest Anonymous
it's my first total engine rebuild (83 280zx) and i want to make sure everythings right...i've got the new chain, sprockets and guides installed with the bottom sprocket about a quarter of an inch away from the block, then the oil spindle sprocket slides on, then the oil slinger disc, but it sits in between those little keys. Does the oil slinger just free wheel on the crank? i can't find any good description of this spacing setup in my FSM or rebuild book - please help! thanks, MIKE
RB30-ZED
Once you have the crankshaft pulley torqued up it will be held tight between the gear and the pulley. Steven
