Guest alfred182 Posted May 23, 2002 Share Posted May 23, 2002 Ok, today I bought my second Z. A n/a 83 280ZX. Anyways, the 5th cylinder on the engine seems to not be working and its leaking oil. The previous owner said the head valve or something was bad. My question to you is this: Should I... 1. try to fix this engine and possibly rebuild it? 2. Swap the excellent engine from my unpainted '79 280ZX? 3. Find a turbo engine and put that in instead? I'm kinda on a budget, so which do you think is best for the car and for my wallet?
