Guest Anonymous
ok! the whole problem with the motor cuuting out at 3500 to 4000 rpms was nothing other then the air filter. but its not the actual air filter. i have dual SU's that have the original orange air filter box. when i take the face off that holds the air filter all that is left is the orange plate the face bolts too. thats whats causing the cut out. some how when the plate is bolted up or just held in the position against the su they cut out but right when i pull it off it revs all the way to 6. i cleaned and actualy drilled out to holes that could have been blocking something and it still does it. any ideas. vehicle still lacks all power in the higher rpms. spotfitz
Does your air box have the winter/summer valve at the front, just behind the very front of the "snorkel"? I thought those had a positive stop to keep from closing all the way, but i could be wrong. Hope it helps.
Guest Zpeed
go to the junkyard and get another airbox, easy done get some individual k&N air filters.. they work great for me...
