Guest Anonymous Posted June 21, 2002 Share Posted June 21, 2002 well i have been fighting an issue of no power in the upper rpms. when the vehicle get s to 3500 rpm it beginnes to blow gas or vapor out. but it is blowing it out the main horn where i thought it sucks in. we adjusted timing and valves and got max performance we could but this thing wouldn't keep up with a honda right now. if cam was timed wrong or a notch off would it cause this blow backin high rpms. Guest Zpeed Posted June 21, 2002 Share Posted June 21, 2002 if its 240z SU's.. i had the same kinda problem when i first got my Su's what i did is that i got carb cleaner, and thourghly cleaned them, turned out the needle valve in the floats was stuck, and wouldn't go past 3500, best to also check everything that is the basic stuff right now also how does it sound at idle, does it purr or does it miss a little bit or not.. does it rev fine under no load, need a bit more info..
