Guest LIghtningZ Posted June 28, 2002 Share Posted June 28, 2002 Hows it goin gang getting ready to drop the new N47 Maxima JY head into my 75Z and wanted to know first how it should be tuned to pass CA SMOG and then re-tuned for the best possible performance, timing, fueling(AFM adjustments) and so on DAW, Bang and others werew a great source of help when my #6 EX. valve was found stuck!! i also want say that DAW gave a way to adjust A/F ratio thru the AFM Type at yall later!! DAW Posted June 28, 2002 Share Posted June 28, 2002 Hopefully the catalytic convertor is going to clean/cover a lot of it up but otherwise I'm lost here. We don't have emissions testing in my county so I haven't looked into this (although I often run a catalytic convertor even though I could get away with removing it). I know some members have discussed methods to squeak through testing in spite of having performance mods so if none respond to this post, try a search.
