(75 280z)Would there be any issue with swapping to 70AMP 280zx Alternator

Just curious I know the popular option is the 60AMP but atlanticZ  says you can use whatever model from the 280zx.

I found a cheap 70AMP from a 83 280zx Turbo thought I just get that one and would be one less part away from a l28et swap

Would there be any issues I would run into?

The first and most important is that you need to alter the wiring to external

voltage regulator located behind the fusible links.  That will be required for

almost all possible alternator swap/upgrades.

Note that the 70A turbo alternator is like bigfoot, many parts store clerks

will claim they have it in stock, but the test sheet in the box will tell you

it is a 60A unit.  You are far better off searching this forum for better swaps

that do not have to cost huge money- Early 90s Maxima, 88-91 Dodge

Monaco are physical bolt-on units that need pulley swaps and connector

wiring.  If 90A to 120A won't meet you needs then you can look into

modifying the lower mount and installing the larger Delco CS series.

Okay so I finally got a hold of a 60 amp from an 83 280zx... tho I have a question.. my altenator on the car didn't have a condenser hooked on to it.. now the one I got from the yard had the plugs attached to it plus the condenser ... so from reading what job it does it just collects the energy field that the alt makes so it doesn't mess with the radio?
