Lucy the 240z

Recommended Posts

Well guys I'm just gonna try and jump straight into this and keep running here. The car is a '70 240z. It's very clean and appears to be an original low mile car. Reads 68000 on the dash and every bit of the car reflects that down to the pedal pads, carburetors, and pedal pads. It's a low production car, #2563 and from what the owner told me was previously a west coast car before he bought it in 2003.

I bought it with a blown head gasket, and a few electrical issues. (Turn signals, hazards, ignition switch). it's also got no hatch, but I've already found a hatch which is in paint.

Some pictures as I picked it up:

I've also managed to track down some SSR MK3's in a 14x7.  Hopefully they'll clear the 'yota 4 pot calipers.

I've gotten her into her storage place for now. The head is off and the motor is pretty well apart. It had an E31 head stock which is great, but there's some damage to the coolant passage around cyl 6 where the gasket blew and was driven on.
