Guest Anonymous
I have a n/a F54 block with flat top pistons and a standard N42 head. I have an after market turbo system with a pressure switch and three set resistor switch. The resistors alter the resistance from the water temp sender switch to the engine management system increasing fuel to the engine, especially on start up. With a combination of low Ron fuel in Austarlia, high compression engine could spell detonation when boost comes on. I will only be running up to 10 psi max on boost. The questions: What thickness decompression plate would someone suggest to drop the compression down to between 7.5 to 8 to one? Not many P90 heads around in Australia and I don't want to fork out on the cost of sourcing dish pistons. At that kind of boost, would I require an intercooler? Would the standard injectors handle up to 10 psi of boost, if not, as there are very few L28 turbo engines around, what size would you recomend and would the V6 Z injectors fit or are they of a different type? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards to you all. SCM
