How I modified my exhaust turbo manifold(pictures)

I bought one of those Chinese exhaust manifold for turbo. The turbo T3 or T25 will fit but way too small for this car if using single turbo setup.

My Turbocharger Garrett T72 will not fit and will hit the valve cover. No way ...No how.

First thing I did was cut the exhaust manifold T4 turbo flange.

 

Then I bought a square stainless tubing 2" x 2"  1/8 gauge.

 

Then I cut 2 pieces with the angle of 35 degrees. I cut the middle of the square pipe.

 

I took the middle section plate and I used it to divide the port

 

Then I eyeballed the gasket and see how my mod looks

 

I tacked weld the flange and tacked it to the exhaust manifold

 

Then I mounted the T72 turbo --- it looks ok though.....nothing fancy 

 

NEXT IS MODIFYING THE WASTEGATE PIPE. THAT PIPE IS NO GOOD TOO. THE PIPE RUNNER IS LOWER THAN THE COLLECTOR

FOR SURE IT WILL BOOST CREEP.
