After years of service it may look aLL one piece but it is not . A little wd 40 and a box end wrench should free the threaded fitting from the sending unit. Guest Anonymous Posted December 1, 2002 Share Posted December 1, 2002 I have a 1972 240z with a L28 block in it , recently my temp gauge stopped working above the oil so i went to replace the temp sensor , went into pepboys got the part went back home and realized the one on my car has threads to hold it in when the one from pepboys doesnt, i checked other auto parts stores they are all the same. here are the pictures of them .. the ones with threads was in my car ( btw its for sale for 4600 =D )http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1872628298 incase anyone is intrested i must sell in 1 week .. anyways here are those pictures Thanks for the help guys, and if anyone is intrested in the car it has almost 0 rest besides a couple spots on the pans which i fiberglassed .. im moving so i have to sell it SON OF A =(. oh well couple more years i will get another and put a 350 in it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
