Guest SagZ
Looking at buying a 1977 280z with a 1979 ZX engine in it. I plan on doing the swap to a V8 but not for at least a year. Can you guys give me any pointers as what I should stare at real hard due to this conversion before buying it? Thanks!

DAW
A fairly consistant indicator is the condition of the front frame rails. Crouch down and look at them, viewed from just behind the front tires. Many Zs will be corroded through here. If so, just look for another one unless you're willing to reconstruct (for high performance use). DAW
