help =( temp sender unit problems

i have a 72 240z with a l28 block as some of you know .. i saw my temp gauge go out so i was like "el crap!" wet to get another unit which didnt have that threading peice on it , found out from someone on here you have to take it off.. well it was epoxied , PLUS the other sender unit even if i could screw it in seems a little bit to fat? so i have a couple questions .. what can i plug this hole up with and let the next owner deal with it .. or DOES ANYONE have a working one of these with that thread sleeve on it out of a junker they have that they could sell me

( or know where i could buy that threaded sleeve ) oh please please help =(

Hey Syndicate...I have one from a 79 280ZX I use to have. You can have it for free complete with a used sensor(not sure if it works anymore). I live in Los Angeles, CA. Don't know how long it would take to get there. Let me know so I can send it out tomorrow. I can post up a pic of it later tonight if you want, I can't burn daylight right now. Syndicate...I sent it out this morning via USPS Priority Mail. I put it into a Priority Mail envelope and it should be there, hopefully by the end of the week. Don't worry about the shipping cost. It's on me. Merry Christmas. Let me know when you receive it to make sure it got there.
