RebekahsZ
Thanks for the pic. Never would have believed that! What's the cars run at the track (when it's not breaking drivetrain parts)?
Dat 392
Car has run a best of 11.5 at 118mph with full exhaust and street trim
RebekahsZ
That's great, especially being a heavier model! Keep up the good work. I think until we go to a solid rear axle that some degree of breakage is just par for the course. I'm trying to get used to it. Hopefully most of it will happen at the line rather than at the fast end of the track.
Dat 392
Yes wouldnt want it to happen at speed.Thought about going solid axle a little while ago when i broke the halfshafts ,but thought it would change the whole car and therefor may as well sell it and by a muscle car like my mates.Plus to back half a car in australia was going to cost me $15000 to $20000.The only issue is I would like to increase power but i think its near its limit and as you probably know its a fine line between fun and catastrophic failure! Dat 392
Thats funny rebekahsz.Want to go to Alabama one day as theres an engine builder called Bennett racing down your way who apparently builds killer ford engines so ill be looking out for your car.Looks like youve got a pretty serious car yourself.Takayuki The kameari bar looks more like a factory replacement as apposed to a billet solid repacement.Cheers.
