I am repeating this from the chevy v8 board because it is definately a high tech topic.

is about reprogramming your LT1 ecm/ecu. You don't have to take it to a shop. You can do it yourself on your home PC or laptop. If you have a stock OBD-I LT1 (94,95,(other years?)) this is HIGHLY recommended reading.
