Taz_20v
Well after many years Drooling over z Models on the Internet,tv and magazines I couldn't help myself but rescue this old lady from a farm in the midlands of Ireland The car spent all its life based in the Irish midlands which it had a few owners and eventually wound up in Co.Meath to an elderly Lady who owned it from 1983 until 2015 when I purchased it. The car was purchased through a local classified called classic cars Ireland and upon viewing I fell under its charm and its self built legend status The day it was bought it had seized brakes but i anticipated this and brought lots of tools and wd40 to free it up so as to I could get it on a trailer First impressions were ok spotted lots of rust around the roof, lower wings and boot door but I knew what I was getting myself in for so wouldn't let rust deter me I WANTED a DATSUN We agreed a price and the set her up on the trailer to her new Home in the South of Ireland in Cork City This will be a slow paced project which I plan to complete over 2 or so years with my Friend Initial plans are: Full and Detailed Restoration Gunmetal Grey Colour Work equip 03's (deep Dish) Rebuilt l26 engine Front air dam(splitter) Zg Flares Aftermarket exhaust system Treble Webber Carbs Polybushings and other small modifications I am excited to say the least heres some shots of the day I bought it January 15th 2015
