velicity13
Hi Guys, I have a set of SK Racing carbs from the early 90's. They were never used. In fact, they never saw fuel. I found a manual on this forum for the SKs of that era but I'm not sure it includes my carbs. The manual specifies 40, 45 and 50mm options. My badges are cast 4738. I would assume that to be 47mm throttle bore. The entry bore on the back of the carbs is about 48mm in diameter. I know that the carbs aren't measured by that part of the bore, I just added that for reference. Does anyone have any insight on my 4738 badges? The air correctors look pretty thick too. They are also stamped 4738. I have them mounted to the manifold or else I would just put calipers on the front side bore but it all seems strange to me. These carbs also don't have the cold start mechanism that the manual refers to. There is just a factory bolt fitted in that spot. ANY help is greatly appreciated!
