loganpratt22
Question.. I got my new over bore (+.040 ITM) pistons and I was dropping them off at the machine shop to have them connected to the rods... The machine shop owner wasn't sure about the piston/rod orientation. The rods have oil squirters on one side and the pistons are also marked on one side. Anyone know which way these line up? Pictures attached: Thanks in advance! Mr_bob
Squirt to the thrust side (oil filter and spark plugs) and piston mark to the front of the motor (timing chain).
loganpratt22
Thanks Mr. Bob! I have the Chilton Guide, but the diagram (3-77 Fig. 202) is a misprint... It doesn't have the identification markings as its label says it should! I figured it would be the same arrangement as 84-88 model, but wanted to check here to be sure! Thanks!
