dsommer
Can anybody offer up some creative solutions to cover up the shifter hole in the transmission tunnel? The hole is way too big (I didn't do it) and kicks out toward the driver for the T-5 transmission. I'm guessing some type of rubber matting for shifter movement. Rivit a piece of sheet metal over it? I'll try to post some pics of the hole. Meanwhile any ideas or solutions are apperciated. David
wayverippah
If you rivet it, be sure to use good seam sealer and rust prevention. That transmission tunnel will see a decent amount of water. Best bet would be to tig a patch over it.
