TrikeZ
Hello everyone, I just ordered s12w calipers, 84 300zx rotors, 1 inch wilwood master cylinder, and hub spacers from silvermine motors for my 73 240z. I have 14x7 mesh wheels. Well my concern/question is if I will need a wheel spacer? I would like to get the spacers now if I need them rather than wait until I already have everything going together and get held back. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Kevlars30z
I swear that I came across that information a few months ago, and I want to say that you might have a problem? I couldn't find it and I wasn't going to go on a deep hunt for it but the old handy dandy search bar helps a lot. I'm sure it's there, happy hunting! SRRTz
You will most likely need them, I've seen someone saying that they didn't but both of my 14" sets and the 15" snowflakes on my car now needed small spacers to clear. The 14" slot mags I used to have needed a 1/4" spacer and the snowflakes now have 3/8" spacers. I swapped the original lug studs for some rear studs from a 1990s Nissan Quest that are the same knurl and thread size as stock, just 12mm longer to give you the thread engagement needed to compensate for the spacers. Dorman part# 610403, IIRC. Hope that helps
DriftingPhoenix
Hi Trike, My S12W have just arrived, and despite my best efforts most info seems to be outdated. Do the calliper's bolt straight on, Albeit the shield needing trimming or removal? Where did you manage to find the discs, and is this the 4 bolt stud pattern?
