oldandcrunchy
Hello, this is my first post. Normally I just hide in the shadows and search through things until I get my answers but I'm having trouble with this one. I'm wiring the r32 engine harness (early harness I think) to install in my 76 280. My harness differs from the rb25 write up slightly. In the write up he has one white plug where I have 4 white plugs. There are two relays that are tied into these white plugs and also the ecu plug. One is the eccs relay and the other I believe is the coil harness relay. The orange wire ties them both together (switched power?) then goes to pin 16. The white/black stripe on bottom relay goes to pin 58 (constant power) The black with white, also on bottom relay, goes to pin 49 (control unit power supply) My question is the white with purple stripe on the top relay I'm pointing at... Is it a 12 volt source? ground? It seems that it previously went off to a plug in the engine bay... I tried to find the diagram for these and failed.. anyone know what to do here? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
oldandcrunchy
Answering my own question. It's switched 12 volts hot while cranking.
