Guest Anonymous
I'm planning a conversion using a 305 out of a '91 Camaro and am trying to decide whether to try to use the TBI or go with a carb. Any comments on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Frank280z
The tbi setup on the camaros is like that of a two barrel carb. Fuel inj will give you a quick startup and smooth response. You would get the smae from a carb after the warm up. There are plenty of go fast cars out there with carbs. If you have the tbi on hand already; couldn't hurt to use that first and save a couple bucks. I think that holley makes a larger tb for a replacement too. Somewhere in the future I plan on buying Accels tpi or picking up a complete LT4 drivetrain. So I'm in favor of the tbi. Frank280z
