Guest Anonymous
Morgan, I don't think any baffels would be necessary. I don't have any in my tank but then again I don't think it would hurt and may as you say, prevent some air bubbles at the outlet. Guest Anonymous
Any suggestions on surge tanks? I picked up some scrap aluminum wednesday and cut out my surge tank. It's round, 4 inch diameter(Maybe 5 inch, didn't mesure), and about 30cm or so tall. I tapered one end at roughly a 45 degree angle, it will be the bottom and the pickup fitting will be an inch or so from the bottom on the tubing. The other 3 fittings will be horizontal at the top of the tank. You think any baffling will be necessary? Perhaps a horizontal plate with a hole in the middle to prevent fuel from sloshing around and make it harder for any bubbles to get down to the pick up tube? ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
