Guest Anonymous
How come I can't get an answer to this? Which sds water temp sensor fits in a stock hole on a l28t thermostat housing? I've been told one does, but which sensor was it? The bosch one, or the pipe threaded one? ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Arif
Morgan, I figured someone who knew the answer would have replied by now. Contact Carlos at Racetech (321) 229-6140. When I ordered mine I told him what type of car I had and he sent the correct size water sensor. ------------------ http://communities.msn.com/TurboZ
Guest Anonymous
Well, did it have pipe threads or did it have normal straight threads? Will carlos give me the discount? Or would I need to order direct to get the 10% off by mentioning zcar.com? ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Scottie-GNZ
You said you wanted someone else to answer so I did not respond. I used all NPT and did the appropriate tapping. I used the therm housing from a later model that had all the crap on it and plugged what I did not use. SDS will give zcar.com members the standard 10%. Carlos will give 15% to a small group of 5 or 20% to the larger group purchase. ------------------ Scottie 71 240GN-Z Scottie's GNZ
Guest Anonymous
I was asking about something else when I said someone other than you reply So... the pipe thread water temp sensor doesn't fit in an existing hole on the thermostat housing? The air temp sensor.... I assume some of those tapped bosses on the manifold are 3/8 npt threads right? I'd just rather use existing holes than drill new ones if possible is all. And the 15% carlos discount..... are there 4 other people who will join me? If not I'm gonna hafta order soon..... ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
