Guest Anonymous Posted January 15, 2001 Share Posted January 15, 2001 webers suck. I finally figured out what was wrong with my car today..... I changed the blown out manifold gasket to no avail. So I disassembled the frontmost carb since the front 2 plugs were badly fouled.... The internal throttle return spring was broken - the loop on the end broke off, the spring fell down into the spring/accelerator pump lever, and was jammed in the lever, preventing the throttle from closing fully. I bent a new loop onto the end of the spring and all was fine after a few speed runs to clean out the plugs and such. Sweet!
