Arif
I have the TPS that came with my SDS. I finally got around to bolting it on the TB. When the throttle is moved the entire unit does not move. After this mod the engine ran like doo doo (new technical terms). I then removed the bolt and let it hang now the engine responds great. So after all this my question is.... does the TPS need to be solidly bolted to the TB or should I leave it mounted on the TB while still allowing movement of the entire TPS? ------------------ http://communities.msn.com/TurboZ
randy 77zt
tps needs to be bolted down on a plate that can be rotated for adjustment.did you order tps in proper rotation?there is a tps for clockwise or counterclockwise rotations.i cant afford sds yet but when i do i have a piece of .250 aluminum plate to adapt tps to oem tps holes.when you do fine tuning on oem(ford& chevy) efi tps voltage setting is a fine adjustment that gets better throttle response.
