Lotus7
I would like to find out someone who uses an Electromotive Tec II. I bought one and can someone tell me the value that I have to put in TOG...injector pulse width e.t.c. and so on just to keep me going. I have the stock 280zxT 83 transplanted to my 77 Z Thanks...Lotus7
TimZ
I think that I responded to a post a while back that you made on zcar.com. As I recall, you were using the Wintec software. It has a wizard that is supposed to come up with basic setting for you - just what you are asking for. Are you having a problem with that? Lotus7
TimZ....thanks for the reply. Wintec sounds good...Wizard sounds good too!....but again you still have to enter all the parameters. Injector pulse service point, Tog, initial advance and so on. To me, Wizard means, if you put that your car is Datsun 1983 ZXTurbo, it should automatically put 6 cyl, 2 bar, 24 injector pulse and so on....but this is not. Yeah! its a window base looks good but the Wizard funtionality is not there.
TimZ
Since the TEC is really intended for use with any number of engine modifications, there is really no way that they could have a single '1983 280zxt' wizard button. I'll have to look again, but I was pretty sure that the wizard just needed basic engine parameters, like displacement, compression ratio, and injector size. I thought it was supposed to come up with IOT, TOG, and an advance curve on it's own. Even still, don't expect any miracles. This is only intended to get you running - don't expect it to run perfectly with just the wizard settings.
Lotus7
Thanks again TimZ...Yeah I understand what you mean. See if you still can dig any configurations you entered and I will study and will be a great help to get started. I know your is not the same as mine...but learning what you got as far as the configuration, It might lighten up my understanding on TecII.
