Guest Anonymous
I was wondering, for those who have done or are thinking about the LT1 swap, what types of fuel pumps do you use for the C4 LT1? I have been searching Summit and Jegs but don't see one that is a winner. Please help.
Guest JAMIE T
Plenty of companies sell external fuel pumps(OEM use tank mounted pumps) Bosch, Accel, Paxton, Aeromotive, all make high pressure fuel pumps that can be used for you application. Its ok to use a high performance pump (like the Aeromotive 1000HP) for a stock application, and it allows you to add modifications later if you want(forced induction?)I would run the above pump with 8AN braided stainless line and 6AN as a return. Check with Street and Performance on LT1 swaps, they are the experts. They mostly do Street Rods. A note to people who would like to add a supercharger or turbo to an LT1, stock compression is too high for any more than @6psi. boost.
