Guest 1z2c
I don't know if this is the right place to post. But here is my question.I have a 350 - 375HP in my Z.(JUST GETTING STARTED) Will a stock Chevy starter be good enough to use.Or would I be better of buying a high torque starter.Like the small racing ones. Guest 1z2c
Thanks for the info ZFAN.i was going to use a stock starter, bot found out today that my block has the inline starter bolt holes. And I put on a 168 tooth flywheel. The inline bolt patter does not take a 168 tooth flywheel it takes a 153 tooth flywheel. So when I went to buy a stock starter they gave me the starter that has the off set bolt pattern. So I have to go with a mini starter that has both bolt patterns it has both bolt patterns. It cost more but I didn't want to pull my motor out and change the flywheel. Thanks Again for your advise !
