Guest Anonymous Posted June 30, 2001 Share Posted June 30, 2001 You can't see it in that shot, but the air cleaner is already ducted through the side of the engine compartment into the fender. for cold air. Before I ducted it, the AT sensor would read between 49C (120F) and 55C (131F) picking up hot air from the engine compartment. Today it was about 88F in Orlando and the inlet Air Temp sensor was showing 35C (95F). I suspect a lot of that is heat absorbed from that duct that passes over the headers.
