Guest JAMIE T
I have a Mallory Hyfire IVc(has 2-step rev limiter) ignition box and a Mallory pro-coil. I have two questions 1. Do I need to use a resister on the coil with this system when used on a stock '71 240Z(well, it has headers)? 2. Does anyone have wiring diagram from a Mallory or MSD ignition system that shows what each of the wires coming from the box go to? The wires are colored but I don't have the distructions anymore. Also, does anyone know if an upgraded ignition is much improvement on the stock ignition system? hmm. that was three, but what the heck. Guest JAMIE T
Thanks for that heads up. I've already gone to Mallory on the net and they have all of the instructions(manuals) availabe for downloading with Adobe Acrobat. I was very impressed by that.
