Battery, ignition, remote solenoid help

I posted this on the V-8 forum also, but it probably belongs here. Please comment if you can:

Think I've got this figured out, but would appreciate any comments from "the experts" before I terminate and mount everything. I'm in the middle of installing a remote battery, remote solenoid, and MSD ignition as part of the V8 conversion in my '77 280Z. Main question concerns the big white wires and the big white/red wires. I'm thinking the Datsun fusible links stay as they are, the big white (was starter wire) gets hooked to the hot side of the remote solenoid switch and the red/white get hooked to the Alternator output post. That sound right?

FYI, and probably more than you want to know, the rest of the stuff is being hooked up as follows: "00" gauge welding cable from battery+ to remote solenoid and from solenoid to starter; "00" gauge cable runs from battery- to original ground location in engine bay; jumper between starter terminal and old solenoid terminal; jumper wire from alternator output post to one of the voltage sensing wires in alternator side-connector; blue wire for alternator charge warning circuit goes to other voltage sensing wire in alternator side connector; black/yellow wire from ignition goes to small right-hand post on remote solenoid; MSD wired per standard instructions with small red MSD wire going to hidden "theft control" on/off switch.
