Guest Anonymous
I have the opportunity to buy an engine, trans, computer, wiring harness, intercooler and other assorted goodies. These are from a 93 typhoon. Any idea what this stuff is worth? The guy wants 2300 for everything but I am cluless as to what it would be worth assuming all parts are in good condition. Any thoughts? Thanks Mark
Evan Purple240zt
Dude, if you pass that deal up i will stomp around and pout! Sounds like a great deal. Id almost rather pick that up then spend more time dicking around with my stupid L motor. This has been such a nightmare. I think its a good deal anyways, how many miles? Scottie-GNZ
Do not know that the price on a TY drivetrain is much different that a Buick TR, but I have always said if you can a TR drivetrain for $2500, jump on it. Like anything else, you take a chance on used stuff, but that has never stopped a potential HybridZ before . Obviously if you have an opportunity to see/hear it run or do a leakdown, so much the better. Hope you have budget for CVs and sticky tires as those things have 360 lb/ft torque stock and they are grossly undertuned.
