I have 78 Z gutted for a 350 small block with an Edelbrock package minus aluminum heads. I have a #8 Rory Bateman Tommahawk that begs to be finished and a Stableworks 250 GTO that waits behind the Tommahawk. Has any one tried the $149.00 brass/copper radiator that Summitt sells. It appears a little wide without modification but will it COOL?? Are Summitts brand block huggers up to SNUFF?? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DavyZ Posted December 9, 2001 Share Posted December 9, 2001 Welcome to the forum! The block huggers are actually 'up to snuff' and I have them on a 350 V8. They are reasonable for the price and fit well with respect to straight (not angled) plugs on the heads. I bought mine several years ago and they only came with a standard black paint. I'm not a fan of the stuff and I will be getting the headers powder coated in the near future...at least that is the plan anyway. I have seen ads for headers already powdercoated for only $175!
