Guest Anonymous
I was considering building up a L28 Turbo motor. I see many of you are using SDS. I would prefer using the stock ECU to save money and to stay stock. What are the limitations to using the stock ECU? Jim Wolf suggested using a remapped "88-89" ECU with a Ford flow meter and larger fuel injectors. The cost of the remapped ECU from Jim Wolf is around $700. For that price I would probably just go with the SDS but like I said I would like to stay stock to save money. Any suggestions?
Drax240z
Bah, stay away from Jim Wolf. For $700US you can have an SDS, and not have to get a reprogrammed ECU each and everytime you modify things. Ian L at zcar.com has run some pretty impressive numbers with his stock computered 3.1L turbo. Check it out.
