Guest Anonymous
Oh Turbo Guru's... I just was wondering how the power brakes work when boost is introduced instead of vacuum? I would assume theres a check valve or something but does your power brake still work ok if you are say heel and toeing and still have the engine reving a bit while applying brakes? Not an issue for me (now anyway ) but was something I wondered about. Regards, Lone
TimZ
Yes, they still work just fine. The check valve keps any boost from getting into the booster, so it's pretty much the same as n/a. Actually, since the cam profiles are generally more conservative for a turbo, they usually have very good off-boost vacuum, so the brake performance does not suffer like it does with a long duration cam on a n/a car. scottyMIz
I've done a burnout while holding the break and it works just fine it just gets so much boost so quick on my car it redlines fast if i'm not paying attention.I love my zt
